North Coast Gymnastics Academy is a multi-purposed gym that caters from the youngest of toddlers to the lively elders of our community. Programs range significantly… such as their creative ‘Ninja’ course that lets youngsters enter gymnastics with a little more pizazz, extensive lineups that include rigorous agendas for competitive teams at any level, and even their newly created adult open gym that allows any and all to come and enjoy the amenities of a gymnastics environment undisturbed by youngsters. At North Coast Gymnastics, they are prideful, following a positive motto that intends to teach discipline, respect, responsibility, dedication, and a desire to work to achieve one’s goals!
The best part is that roughly over half of their employee base are Western students and alumni. Simply meaning that all the positive mentoring being passed on to our younger generations happens to be supplied by our very own aspiring Western students. Beyond that, the owner Rebekah Robitaille happens to be a Western alumni… being an integral figure and representative of Western that shows success all the while giving back to the community! As if WWU wasn’t already deeply engrained in this Academy, they are a host to several athletes that happen to be children to some of our very own distinguished professors.
Through all aspects, we see North Coast Gymnastics representing the quintessential ideal of generational progress, especially through significant WWU influence. Links in the Bellingham community through student growth from Western flows through North Coast Gymnastics. They thrive on growth of their athletes and their employees. The environment is lively in every sense, and their complete inclusiveness of everyone makes each person feel accepted and wanted. If you haven’t experienced them as of yet, then write it up on your college bucket list, because they are worth it.
